Peltate refers to circular leaves where the stem attaches at the center rather than the edge of the blade. This design has taken the overall plan of a lilypad and crossed it with the dichotomous patterning of a ginkgo. As veins radiate from the center they fork repeatedly producing a tree-like structure defined by Y shaped nodes.
The pattern was grown from computer simulation of leaf venation and etched from a sheet of stainless steel. Available in Stainless Steel with Sterling Silver chain or 24kt gold plated pendant with 14kt gold fill chain only.
